One of Britain’s greatest living directors
Film 4 is set to dedicate a whole weekend to the films of Shane Meadows.
It is to tie in with his new TV show The Virtues, which sees him reteam with Stephen Graham.

Starting on Thursday, May 9th, the channel will screen four of his movies over three night.
It starts off with the underlooked Once Upon A Time In The Midlands. Then on Saturday, there is a double bill of Shane Meadows’ most famous film, This Is England, and his Stone Roses doc, Made of Stone.
It concludes with what is perhaps his greatest film, Dead Man’s Shoes, starring Paddy Considine.
