Cowboy Rambo!
Sylvester Stallone is 72-years-old. Let that sink in. Rocky was 42 years ago. First Blood was 35 years ago. Demolition Man was 25 years ago.
But the Italian Stallion is still going strong. He plays Rocky Balboa for the eighth time in Creed 2, which hits cinemas later this month.
But his other most-iconic character is also making a comeback. Rambo 5 has just started shooting, and Sly shared a few photos of him in character on his Instagram.

As you can see, it looks like John Rambo is ditching his normal jungle attire for a Wild West vibe. Reportedly, the film will see Rambo taking on the Mexican drug cartels, so this seems like a solid outfit for the job.
The second picture he shared continued the Cowboy Rambo theme, complete with horse.

Two weeks ago, Stallone also posted a video of him going hard in the gym, getting back into shape for the role, and wearing a t-shirt of his own face.
Another Instagram post from May revealed that Sly intends the movie to hit cinemas late next year, and shooting is set to take place in London, Bulgaria, and the Canary Islands.
John Rambo first appeared in the novel First Blood, by David Morrell. That was adapted into the film of the same name in 1982, with Sylvester Stallone playing the troubled Vietnam veteran. But whereas Morrell’s novel featured Rambo dying at the end, the movie let him survive, and he was brought back for a series of increasingly ludicrous sequels: 1985’s Rambo: First Blood Part II, 1988’s Rambo III, and 2008’s belated, and confusingly titled, Rambo.
At one point, Rambo V was meant to be about John Rambo chasing a werewolf. As fun as Rambo versus the drug cartels sounds, we still really want to see that movie. Make it happen, Sly. Make it happen.
