The brothers were big in the 1980s
Igor Bogdanoff has died from Covid, six days after his twin brother Grichka passed away from the virus.
During the late-1970s and 1980s the brothers became famous French TV hosts, and most notably presented popular scientific and sci-fi series Temps X, translated to Time X in English.
Neither were vaccinated, according to Luc Ferry, a philosophy professor, and friend of the brothers who were both 72.
He told French publication Le Monde: “Being very athletic, without a gram of fat, they believed that the vaccine was more dangerous. They never got sick.”
Igor’s agent released a statement that read: “In peace and love, surrounded by his children and his family, Igor Bogdanoff left for the light on Monday, January 3, 2022.”
Through their show Time X, the Bogdanoff brothers introduced the French public to popular sci-fi shows such as The Twilight Zone, Doctor Who, and Star Trek.
Despite their distinctive facial shapes, both brothers always denied having any surgery, saying their features were natural.
They were also noted scientific essayists but were involved in numerous scandals over scientific papers published in academic journals which were alleged to have been illegitimate.
