Much like the spectacular action and superb characters, there’s something that every Game of Thrones fan expects to see in an episode, sex. Come on, we’re all grown-ups here.
Right from the very first episode, Game of Thrones made is intentions clear as Bran Stark learned a very painful lesson about climbing and since that startling revelation about Jaime and Cersei, the show has erm, upped the ante.
We had that extremely awkward scene between Yara and Theon, Jon Snow’s ‘charm’ in caves, Euron Greyjoy’s curiosity about a ‘finger in the bum‘ and much more.
Hell, even Season 7 finished on that curious shot of Tyrion after he realised that Jon and Daenerys were about to have sex. All things considered, sex is an important part of Game of Thrones but it’s not just Jonerys that fans of the show want to have a happy ending.
Despite the fact that they left the door open – who would do that? – the scene when Grey Worm and Missandei finally hooked up was very tender and sweet.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) talked about the moment when her character finally consummated this long-simmering romance.
“There’s something unique about it purely because of Grey Worm’s situation. His brutal history of being mutilated — there’s a real sense of trust here and that really plays out in this lovely scene where they physically act upon their love. For him to do that is a really big deal and Missandei knows that and doesn’t really care. She just loves him and that intimacy they’ve shared comes to a head,” she said.
Despite this important moment for these two beloved characters, viewers at home were only curious about *one thing*.

Of course, there are other ways to have sex but given the fact that all members of the Unsullied were castrated as children, plenty of people were wondering how Grey Worm and Missandei had sex.
Well, speaking on the Game of Thrones Season 7 DVD commentary, here’s what the incredibly talented Jacob Anderson (also known as Raleigh Ritchie) had to say.
“I think Grey Worm’s got a willy is my understanding. But he doesn’t have balls,” he said.
