We’re still reeling from Spider-Man’s cameo appearance in Captain America: Civil War this spring.
In the space of 20 minutes, superhero fans were treated to a brand new, pitch perfect version of Spider-Man. It was all there, the swish costume, the quip heavy banter, the power/responsibility talk.
It says a lot that during a two hour film involving a dozen superheroes in the face, the stand-out was a British kid with a mop top hairstyle.
So when it was announced this week that filming had started on Spider-Man’s newest solo film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, we were interested to see how it’d turn out.
Luckily, lead actor Tom Holland has treated us to an on-set snap of the new movie, and things are looking good.

The first Spider-Man selfie in history? J Jonah Jameson himself would be proud of the photography skills on show.
Spider-Man: Homecoming may be the third different Spider-Man film in a decade, but going by Tom Holland’s spot on pose, it may be the most faithful. With San Diego Comic-Con just around the corner, expect more news about the film to be given about the film ahead of its Summer 2017 release.
Spider-Man and Iron Man hanging out in a film together. What a time to be alive.
