Man’s flight is hijacked by desperate individual wanting to speak to his wife; man takes smiley photograph with potential suicide terrorist; photo goes viral and man becomes a worldwide celebrity.
Alas, that’s pretty much the top and bottom of what happened to Ben Innes. The 27-year-old’s snap with Egyptair hijacker Seif Eldin Mustafa – complete with fake bomb belt – went viral around the world as few could quite believe his bravado/stupidity.
Now the Mirror report that Celebrity Big Brother bosses want to capitalise on Innes’ 15 minutes by including him on this summer’s roster of ‘famous’ housemates. If previous years’ shows are anything to go by, he’ll enjoy the company of numerous has-beens and never-weres.
