What a cat-astrophe.
On Wednesday’s This Morning Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were interviewing cat-owner Cat Robinson via video link-up. As she held her pet cat Willow up to the camera, Willow spun around and bit her in the face.
Holly burst out giggling. An uncontrollable fit of laughter is hardly an unusual occurance on This Morning – but what happened next was didn’t go down well with viewers.
The guest was on to speak about what had happened to Willow during the reason cold weather brought on by the ‘Beast from the East’. The beloved family pet had gone missing during the bad weather. “Jonny my husband was looking for him and saw a lump of fur on the road. I thought it was a fox. It did resemble Willow,” she told Holly and Phil “He scraped it up and put it in a bin bag and it did resemble a cat. He took it to the vet and they scanned it but they couldn’t work out if it was or wasn’t Willow”
The family held a memorial for their dead cat – but then Willow turned up fine and well ten days later. They remains they’d found were of a different cat.
Through this whole story, Holly had continued giggling at the cat biting her owner. It did not go down well on social media.
