Given the shit show that is 2016, Honey G’s success in this year’s X Factor hardly comes as a surprise.
She has confused fans of the show since the moment she first appeared on stage.
Her presence in the final has been particularly baffling considering she only made it to judge’s house by fluke after another one of the contestants pulled out.
Her substandard performances have irked viewers who have expressed their disappointment with each passing week. Still the rapper thrives as other contestants are kicked off.
Now as the final hour approaches, Honey G is expected to pull off a desperate stunt to secure her place in the semi-finals.
According to The Mirror, the 35-year-old performer will pause her performance an attempt to pull off a live mannequin challenge.
Reports suggest that she’s also planning to include judges Simon, Louis, Sharon and Nicole.
The idea was entirely hers.
A source told The Sun:
“Honey is singing two songs this week — U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer, picked by Louis, and her own choice, a mash-up of Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It mixed into Black Beatles.”
“She came up with the amazing idea of doing a Mannequin Challenge live on the show and getting all the judges involved. It’s a big risk in front of millions of viewers as it could all go horribly wrong, but if she pulls it off it will be huge.”
