The discovery was made north of where the ITV series is filmed.
Following the recent news that a 170mph cyclone could strike when the new series of I’m A Celebrity is filming, the ITV show suffered more bad news after skeletal remains were found close to where the show is set.
According to reports, hikers in the area made the gruesome discovery on Tuesday after they were walking near J.C Slaughter Falls in the Mt Coot-tha forest, west of Brisbane.
At the time, these hikers were searching for a zipline in the are and noticed a pair of shoes that were concealed underneath a bush. Local reports state that: “Police were last night yet to determine who the remains belonged to, with testing of the bones expected to take days.
The new series will air on Sunday, November 19th.
As of yet, there’s been no official word on who will be heading into the jungle this year, or if Ant will be back for the new series.
