How does The Inbetweeners translate?
If you’ve watched British television over the past 12 years there’s a very good chance that you’ll have watched The Inbetweeners, either in passing or binged on it.
The adventures of Will, Simon, Neil and Jay have been etched into the minds of British people who grew up watching it as teenagers, able to empathise with their painfully embarrassing school and social life.
But what if you’d never watched it before? What if the references don’t entirely make sense because, for example, you’re from a different country? Well, that’s why we got a French to sit down and watch it.
Turns out the humour does translate but, unfortunately, some things require questions.
