His latest controversial stunt
Last night Kanye West started selling t-shirts with a swastika on them.
They were the only item for sale on his website, however now the Yeezy website has been taken down.
The ecommerce platform Shopify, which hosts many online shops and businesses, deactivated his site.
They said in a statement: “All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify.”
The 47-year-old rapper used the Super bowl to promote his website but only sold a single item – a $20 white T-shirt featuring the swastika.
The rapper known now as Ye, filmed a bizarre, close-up video of himself for a Super bowl ad, telling viewers to visit his online store.
He said: “I spent all the money for the commercial on these new teeth. So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.”

He then told viewers to go to his website, but fans who followed the link found the $20 shirt featuring the infamous Nazi hate symbol.
He had previously posted an image of the white top early on Saturday morning and described the design as his ‘greatest performance art piece thus far’.
He wrote on X: “I’ve wanted to make this tee shirt for years. My greatest performance art piece thus far.”
The highly controversial merchandise launch came hours after he launched a 12-hour barrage of racist, homophobic and sexist tweets on Thursday night.
The tweets included a plea to President Trump to free Diddy from prison.
In the tweets he expressed support for Adolf Hitler and stated he would never ‘trust or work with Jewish people’ again.
In 2022, the rapper was accused of anti-semitism after making a series of racist remarks but later apologised, insisting it was not his ‘intention to hurt or demean’ the Jewish community.
However, on Thursday he said he would never apologise for his Jewish comments, claiming he could say whatever he wanted to say.
Prior to his latest tweets, the troubled rapper addressed concerns that his wife Bianca Censori is a victim of coercive control after her explicit outing at the Grammys, claiming he has ‘dominion’ over her.
He went on to use homophobic slurs against people who supported former Vice President Kamala Harris.
