Arsenal fans have had to put up with years of mockery for needing an extra game to reach the Champions League, so it seems only fair for them to give a bit back.
Manchester United’s first-leg victory over Club Brugge took them a step closer to the group stage, at which point Arsenal will also enter the competition.
Little Britain star Matt Lucas, one of the Gunners’ most vocal celebrity supporters, had a cheeky message “on behalf of all Arsenal fans”.
It’s clearly taken some people a bit of time to adjust to the unfamiliar situation.
Won't it feel weird not having a nervy start to the season and having to sit through a qualifying round #arsenal
