If you like gore, zombies and Korean shows – then you’ll love this
We’ve all collectively come to the conclusion that Korean Netflix shows are better than most things – and now, the platform’s new Korean zombie series is getting mad reviews online.
Since the rise of Hwang Dong-hyuk’s Squid Game last year, Korean streaming choices have been booming – and while there are plenty to choose from, many of which we collected here, All of Us Are Dead is being raved about across the internet.
Guardian film critic Stuart Heritage said: “This is the third Korean Netflix original in just a few months to blow me away.”
While the show initially had a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100 per cent, that rating has dropped ever so slightly to 86 per cent and yet the horror series is still trending on both Netflix and Twitter following its release on January 28.

The thriller is based on the web-toon Now At Our School, which follows a group of students as their school becomes ground zero for a ravenous zombie outbreak.
“Zombies have overrun our school. Will you escape, die or unite to survive?” Netflix questioned in the show’s description.
Starring more emerging Korean talent, the show features Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo and Jo Yi-hyun as students beating zombies left, right and centre.

Speaking to Tatler, the show’s director Lee Jae-kyoo said: “I think these conflicts between genders and classes and different hierarchies, appear everywhere and in all corners of the world.
“It just shows through at the school because that’s the setting.
“But after you’re done watching, I think you will believe that these are actually universal themes that we can all resonate with.”
