There was also a complaint about ‘sexually suggestive’ behaviour by a judge.
It has emerged that Ofcom received a complaint about Ant McPartlin appearing on this weekend’s Britain’s Got Talent, despite him only featuring in footage recorded before his arrest and conviction for drink driving.
It wasn’t the only complaint they recieved, according to The Mirror, there was also two about Simon Cowell using the word ‘bloody’ – sorry, gran – and another about David Walliams being ‘sexually suggestive’.
Ahead of the weekends show, producers reportedly chopped footage of the Geordie presenter driving a Union Jack covered Jaguar in the light of his pleading guilty to driving whilst intoxicated.
The clip of him driving Declan Donnelly around Richmond Park would have appeared as a skit on the show. Scenes for the show’s audition stage were filmed prior to his arrest last month.
A source told the Sun: “Bosses have been forced to drop the footage. It would have been inappropriate and insensitive.”
He was fined £86,000 and handed a 20-month road ban after pleading guilty to drink driving in court last week.
