S*** just got real
Ok, we all wanna be like Mike, but one question has been on the lips of Bad Boys fans for years. No, it has nothing to do with Marcus getting that Power Ranger stuck up his ass because we’re all wondering about a new film in the Bad Boys franchise.
Truth be told, this film has been through so much production hell that we nearly lost all hope but thankfully, things are now moving faster than Marcus’ driving at the end of the first film.
As previously reported, The Hashtag Show got a glimpse at the official plot and here it is:
“The film will see Lawrence’s character Marcus Burnett working as a private eye after a falling out with Smith’s Mike Lowery, who is going through a midlife crisis as a bachelor who finally wants to mature, all while dealing with a new a young and cocky partner who is loyal to Lowery but that loyalty is not reciprocated, and finds bond with Burnett when he returns to the fray.
It continues: “Lowery and Burnett are brought together again when a lean, mean, skilled, Albanian mercenary with a vendetta puts a death order on Lowery and Burnett for the death of his brother. Now the two must work together once again to bring him down.”
Well, there’s even better news because The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will officially return to their roles and the film even has a release date.
Bad Boys for Life is set to hit cinemas on Jan. 17, 2020.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the third chapter in the saga and if you think that there’s no demand for this, think again. The first two films, released in 1995 and 2003, took in a collective $414.7 million worldwide.
Aside from this, we’re also getting also the Bad Boys spin-off TV series, with Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
