Whatcha gonna do?
Bad Boys 2 is the best movie of all time. No, seriously. Try and name a film better than it. You can’t.
It has been fifteen long years since that cinematic masterpiece was released. You can understand that they might have been worried that they could never top it. But Bad Boys 3 is supposedly happening, with both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on board, and TV directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah set to be in charge behind the camera. It will go under the title Bad Boys For Life (shouldn’t they save that for part 4?).
Now a plot synopsis has emerged, as reported by The Hashtag Show. The synopsis reads:
The film will see Lawrence’s character Marcus Burnett working as a private eye after a falling out with Smith’s Mike Lowery, who is going through a midlife crisis as a bachelor who finally wants to mature, all while dealing with a new a young and cocky partner who is loyal to Lowery but that loyalty is not reciprocated, and finds bond with Burnett when he returns to the fray. Lowery and Burnett are brought together again when a lean, mean, skilled, Albanian mercenary with a vendetta puts a death order on Lowery and Burnett for the death of his brother. Now the two must work together once again to bring him down.
Sony are apparently eager to get the cameras rolling and have fast-tracked the film. There’s also the Bad Boys spin-off TV series, with Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, in production, but no word on if that will cross over with the new movie.
