The mini console movement continues at pace
Sega are set to release a Mega Drive Mini and a Sega Genesis Mini later this year, it has been confirmed.
The Japanese company originally announced the release of the device in 2018, only to delay the release due to a larger than expected reaction to the news.
The Mega Drive is the name of the Genesis outside of North America.
It is set to hit shelves on September 19.
Mega Drive Mini is out in September. 40 games, and it's being handled by M2 (who do the Sega Ages games) which means the emulation should be flawless for once. Sold. pic.twitter.com/WvrDHR6nLC
