Sports games are not like your average video game series.
While Half-Life fans have been waiting over a decade for the third installment in the franchise, FIFA and Madden fans know they’ll be getting a new one ever year.
This throws up some challenges for the marketing team as they need to think up a new campaign every year to get people hyped up enough to buy a new copy.
Well, it seems that EA Sports have decided to go as big as possible for the release of Madden 16 with a fake film of epic proportions.
The fake trailer shows actors Dave Franco and Christopher “McLovin” Mintz-Plasse alongside New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Atlanta Falcons star Julio Jones.
Not only that, but Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan attempts to inspire Franco to victory, while San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick stars as Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman.
Oh, there’s also a T-Rex at the end.

We’re not sure what the hell that was, but we’re excited.
