Despite the high-budget CGI epicness of Jurassic World, it’s easy to forget that at the heart of the dino-franchise is a brilliant story…
The original Jurassic Park film may seem dated now, but the the dramatic plot and great characters still hold up.
And we’ve stumbled upon an absolute gem that drives the point home. In 1993, David Chakrin and Michael Raisch – then only wee lads – recreated the original movie using only toys, hand-drawn backdrops and a handheld camcorder.
The result is both adorable and brilliant in equal measure, transporting us back to a time when all that mattered was mucking about with friends and playing with toys…so last week then.
