This three-part ghost story is guaranteed to give you the creeps

"The brain sees what it wants to see."

Rory Cashin

Hallowe’en might be over, but there’s never a bad time to watch a great scary movie.

Thanks to the likes of the V/H/S/ series, and even with shades of Black Mirror, anthology story-telling is definitely making a comeback.

In the case of Ghost Stories, it tells the tale of Professor Goodman (Andy Nyman, who is also the co-writer and co-director of the movie), a psychologist and skeptic, who has his rationality tested when he stumbles across a long-lost file containing details of three terrifying hauntings. He then embarks on a mission to find rational explanations for the ghostly happenings.

Across the tales, we find out that those who are being haunted – played by Martin Freeman (Sherlock), Paul Whitehouse (The Death Of Stalin) and Alex Lawther (The Imitation Game) – are all linked to each other somehow, but are all facing completely different types of demons.

A mini-trailer for each of the cases has been released, while the movie itself is set to hit cinemas in early 2018.
