In the grand pantheon of the most memorable scenes in Game of Thrones, the moments between Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and Reek/Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) were hard to top.
Ok, the duo may have lacked the comedy stylings of Tyrion and Bronn, the camaraderie of Arya and The Hound (let’s ignore the whole ‘leaving him to die’ bit) or the genuine friendship between Jon and Sam, but they did make up for it with gore, torture and suffering, lots and lots of it.
Isn’t that what friendship is all about?
We already knew that the most despised bastard in The North was set to play Adolf Hitler in a satirical TV film, but former Misfits star Rheon will also be broadening his range with a role in Marvel’s upcoming superhero drama, Inhumans.
In the show, the Welsh actor and singer will be playing Maximus, brother of Black Bolt who is the leader of the Inhuman royal family. Maximus is described as likable, charming and villainous due to his thirst for power.
Mmm, we’re getting flashbacks to Roose Bolton and the rest of Ramsay’s family now.
Nothing bad could possibly happen, right?
Not to be outdone, Ramsay’s former slave/victim/human pincushion Theon Greyjoy, more commonly known as Alfie Allen to his friends and family, will be battling another terrifying monster because he has just joined the cast of Shane Black’s The Predator.
Allen will play an ex-Marine who teams with several other tougher than nails types, including Narcos star Boyd Holbrook, to stop the iconic Predator.
In all seriousness, we know that both Allen and Rheon actually love each other and have probably swapped congratulatory texts already.
Just look at that hug!
