Of all the films due for release in cinemas this summer, arguably none will be as anticipated as Straight Outta Compton.
The film documents the rise of influential hip-hop group NWA (Niggaz With Attitudez), which included legends of the genre such as Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy-E.
A brand new trailer for the movie landed today and it looks great as it tracks the group’s formation, their rise to prominence and some of the difficulties they encountered with the law over the years.
Dr Dre recently admitted that he got emotional during the filming of the movie, particularly during the scenes involving the late Eric Lynn Wright, or Eazy-E, who passed away twenty years ago last week from complications related to AIDS.
Straight Outta Compton will be released in UK cinemas on 14 August
