There have been some really shocking twists and turns in EastEnders recently.
But there’s still nothing more surprising than catching one of the stars of the show casually dropping a swearword into their lines – or at least that’s what it sounded like on last night’s episode.
Viewers will remember the tragic events of New Year’s Day when Ronnie and Roxie died in a swimming pool. Last night we saw Jack and Max Branning at the inquest into the death of the Mitchell sisters.
The coroner ruled that Ronnie and Roxie did not drown, but died of “misadventure”. The ruling enraged Jack, who went on an emotional rant at Max.
“Is that what I’m going to tell Amy? An adventure gone wrong?” Jack fumed. “Well it’s not true, is it? Roxy went into that water knowing full well she put a shedload of gear up her nose.”

Except the way Jack said ‘a shed’ very much sounded like ‘a shit’ which, compounded with the word ‘load’, forms the popular unit of measurement ‘a shitload’.
And pretty much everyone thought the same thing.
Did….Jack just say "shitload" #eastenders

Sadly, he didn’t say it, but goddamn it sounded like it.
