We can’t WAIT for this

The audition process is well underway, and it looks like Britain’s Got Talent viewers are set for a real treat tonight.

Fr. Ray Kelly, originally from Oldcastle, Meath, will be taking to the stage in front of the judging panel to sing R.E.M’s Everybody Hurts.

The 64-year-old priest became a viral sensation in 2014 after his special cover performance of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah captured hearts across the country.

Changing the lyrics ever-so-slightly, we’ve got to admit – it was a pretty lovely tribute for the then-newlyweds Chris and Leah.

To date, the video has gotten more than 60 million views – so we definitely can’t wait to see what he’ll come up with when he hits the stage tonight.

Elsewhere in the episode, there’s Jenny, a 68-year-old retiree from Birmingham, who will be rocking out and singing AC/DC for the judging panel.

And the Giang Brothers will be bringing their acrobatic talents to the stage in the hopes of impressing Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

Britain’s Got Talent kicked off its 12th series last weekend with the first of the auditions, which is currently scheduled to run until May 26.

  • Britain’s Got Talent airs on ITV3 tonight at 8pm.
