Breaking Bad’s Walter White made a cracking comeback to mock Donald Trump

The comeback we didn't realise we needed.

Paul Moore

Walter White knows a thing or two about dealing with the authorities in New Mexico.

While Heisenberg himself didn’t exactly build a wall to keep out his competition, the TV meth kingpin wasn’t opposed to using some nefarious means to eliminate his competition.

‘Breaking Bad’ was absolutely brimming with controversial and cold-blooded characters as the likes of Tuco Salamanaca, Gus Fring, Todd Alquist, and even Walter White himself, frequently terrified audiences.

‘Saturday Night Live’ has gleefully used the president-elect as a source of humour, but the show needed a little bit of help in taking the mickey out of Trump’s tendency to appoint controversial people to his Cabinet.

Why do this? Well, Andrew F. Puzder (nominee for Labor Secretary) has argued that a federal minimum wage increase would reduce employment opportunities for those who need them the most. Scott Pruitt (nominee for Environmental Protection Agency Administrator) has fought regulations aimed at combating climate change and Mike Pence’s (Vice President-elect) views on LGBTQ rights are well documented.

Walter White wants to make America cook again by becoming the new Head of the DEA.

Take a look and remember, he’s the one who knocks.
