She spent almost £1500 on the steak.
Gemma Collins has revealed how she “felt sick” the morning after going to Salt Bae’s new London restaurant.
The TOWIE star visited the restaurant last month and ordered one of Salt Bae’s famous 24 carat gold covered-steaks.
The GC and her boyfriend, Rami Hawash, shared footage of their time at the restaurant on Instagram, including the obligatory clips of Salt Bae slicing meat and sprinkling on some salt.
But it doesn’t appear like Collins was ready for the monstrous bill she was presented with at the end of the night.
In the latest episode of her Gemma Collins Podcast, the 40-year-old said: “I have to give the ambience of the restaurant, the experience, a 10 out of 10.
“The bill was another situation, I was in utter shock. But you have to weigh these things up, the press reported that my steak cost £700, if only they knew.
“I wish it cost £700. It actually cost £1,450.”

The reality star continued: “I went a bit over the top, but the only way I can justify it was that I haven’t been on holiday this year.
“It’s something I’ve never done before, I would never spend that money, but we had a good evening.”
Collins said she had the 24 carat gold steak, but “I felt a bit sick”.
“It was an amazing experience, I would have paid that to meet him anyway because I love him, and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“But I started to feel really bad the next day because there are people starving in the world. I just started feeling really bad about it all.”
Collins said she had told her friends and family that she won’t be eating out for a long time, “not at those prices”.
She concluded that next time she’ll just get her boyfriend to cook a steak and order some “gold foil off the internet for £4.99.”
