People weren’t happy about his brutal comment and even called for him to be sacked.
Professional agro merchant Gordon Ramsay has caused a Twitter storm after going in on vegans on the social media site.
It came after somebody wrote to the chef on Twitter to ask for his thoughts on their vegan lasagne.
He replied claiming to be a member of PETA, or “people eating tasty animals” as he put it.

And the real PETA even got in on the action, giving the 52-year-old a full-on verbal tongue lashing.
The organisation replied: “Oh, dear, Gordon. We’ve heard that old line before. While you’re spending time mocking the future #vegan we’re betting you one day become, most chefs are exploring healthy, animal- & environment-friendly #PlantBased dishes.

This isn’t the first time he’s offended the veg-munching community. As Deadline News reported last year, he placed himself firmly on the vegan hate list by declaring that he was allergic to them.
To be fair you can’t imagine a meat-loving chef and an animal rights group are ever going to see eye to eye.
