Does it even count as cheese?
A study conducted by takeaway platform Foodhub has revealed that slice process cheese is actually the UK’s favourite. Though this cheese comes in a plastic coating, the product itself also tastes like plastic which has earned it the nickname ‘plastic cheese’ throughout much of the UK.

American cheese will never exist in my household

The sheer blasphemy to place cheese slices over the likes of Brie, Halloumi, and Feta is beyond shocking and paints a pretty dire picture of the UK’s palette. For comparison, if we venture into Europe, the cheese choices are undeniably more admirable.
In Italy, Parmigiano Reggiano takes the top spot with 44 per cent of the vote, followed by Mozzarella, Grana Padano, Gorgonzola, and Pecorino.
Even in America, where sliced cheese originated, Cheddar still beats them out for the top spot. Other entries include Pepper Jack, Mozzarella, Swiss, and Colby Jack.
We can argue all day long about what is wrong with this country, but besides GB News, a corrupt government, and institutional prejudice, plastic cheese might be the next big issue.
The UK has a lot of explaining to do.
