In recent months, gin has almost usurped football and Love Island as the nation’s most beloved thing. Almost.
In case you need reminding, gin lovers can now buy the world’s best brand at Aldi, sample G&T ice cream, set sail on a gin-themed cruise from Dorest and enjoy a little bit of chocolate with their favourite spirit, but what about people that might be a bit lazier and in need of another gin-soaked thrill?
Well, how about a van that delivers gin right to your doorstep?
The van, nicknamed ‘The Wanderer’, drives around the UK and it’s available to hire for big events, weddings, parties, stag/hen dos etc.
Speaking with the Metro, Nick Whitby, who is part of The New World Trading Company who own the van, said: “we get inundated with requests asking if we can provide our cocktails and drinks for their private celebrations. The Wanderer is perfect for this.”
If gin doesn’t float your boat, there’s also cocktails, high-end spirits and some ‘world-class’ ales to choose from.
If this tickles your fancy, the fully stocked van can be hired at a cost of £1,500. There’s also an extra £500 charge for barstaff and glassware.
Our advice? Keep the £500 to yourself and spent it on extra gin. Hell, just embrace your inner Tom Cruise from Cocktail and you’ll be fine when it comes to making those drinks.
