If you’re going to do a trip Down Under, here’s a way to do it in style.
This is the Great Barrier Reef’s first ever floating villa, Airbnb’s most envy-inducing listing to date.
The beautiful holiday home can be found nestled off the coast of Eastern Australia, and according to the listing: “This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in a floating home on the Great Barrier Reef and experience the magic of one of the world’s seven natural wonders.”
Lucky guests can simply hop out of bed and straight into the water to swim and snorkel with the colourful sea life below.
Booking a stay isn’t so easy, however. The only way to secure yourself a spot is to enter a competition to win a one-night stay in the unique surroundings.
To enter, what you need to do is explain why you should get the once-in-a-lifetime trip. The prize includes flights Cairns, Australia, an overnight stay, snorkel tour and scuba dive, along with lunch prepared by Australian chef on a nearby coral sand island.
The competition is in partnership with Pixar to celebrate the release of Finding Dory, which will be set in the Great Barrier Reef. The winners will also be treated to a private screening of the film on a nearby beach.
Get your entry in here. You have until June 3o to enter.
