That’s some amount of pints.
Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh (that’s Irish for Happy St Patrick’s Day) and while every city around the world does its own bit to celebrate the day, there’s no denying that on this day, Dublin is the most popular destination for tourists to visit and have a few pints.
Every year, the city is absolutely brimming with people from all over the world as they flock to the Irish capital to experience the culture, atmosphere and festivities that the day involves. Granted, it’s usually raining sideways, but if you’ve ever been to Dublin then you’ll know that you’re never far from a pub.
Speaking of pubs, one of the most popular areas for tourists to visit in the Irish capital is Temple Bar, and just like every other St Patrick’s Day, the place is currently wedged with people.
If you fancy seeing live pictures of what’s unfolding at this very moment, you can do so here.
Christ, can you imagine the queue for the bar?
