They’ve had to make their own preparations for the World Cup
The wives and partners of England players have reportedly hired a personal stylist to help them dress appropriately for Qatar.
The Three Lions play Iran in their opening match of the World Cup on Monday. But their other halves have been preparing in their own way ahead of the tournament in the Middle East.
This is because of strict laws in place that covers various things like behaviour in public, alcohol and clothing.
They have been told to ditch certain items of clothing such as short skirts and low-cut tops by one stylist in an attempt to help them dress more modestly.
According to the Sun, personal stylist Connie Jones personally advised Luke Shaw’s partner Anouska Santos, John Stones’ partner Liv Naylor and Marcus Rashford’s fiancée Lucia Loi.

A source reportedly said: “Connie leaves nothing to chance and has examined their itinerary and desired outfits which will fit into situations such as visits to restaurants or even when they are in the gym.
“She is highly trusted and thought of by the women and has contacts to source the latest fashions and clothing so that the women look the best.

They added: “The last thing they want is to offend anybody in Qatar. They have a lot of self-respect and want to show the same respect to the people there but at the same time enjoy themselves.”
The players’ families will still be able to wear jerseys sporting their partners’ names on the back despite the strict laws.
