Grimes, real name Claire Elise Boucher, is reportedly starting a “lesbian space commune” following her recent split from tech mogul Elon Musk.
The couple announced last week (September 24) that they had “semi-seperated” which frankly must be a rich people thing. But nevertheless, Grimes is moving on with her life – though it appears it won’t involve being on this planet.

In an email to Page Six, the singer said: “I’ll be colonizing Europa separately from Elon for the lesbian space commune.”
Europa is Jupiter’s biggest moon – and coincidentally – the hopeful location for life beyond our own planet. While the surface of the moon is uninhabitable due to radiation, the oceans beneath its crust are said to harbour the potential for life.
In a statement to Page Six delivered on September 24, Musk said: “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.
“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA.
“She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”

Grimes recently announced via Vogue that her baby, uniquely named X Æ A-XII, does not call her ‘Grimes’ but instead her birth name ‘Claire’.
“Having a baby was a big kind of like rebirth for me, like artistically,” she told the fashion outlet.
“Being a mother feels weird to say for some reason; I don’t identify with that word… Which is also really weird, ’cause X, he says ‘Claire’ but he doesn’t say like ‘Mama’, which is so, I’m like how are you… maybe he can sense my distaste for the word mother.”
