Men being the red-blooded creatures that we are, sometimes we can’t help our eye wandering towards other attractive people we encounter in public, even when we’re perfectly happy in relationships.
Most men guilty of doing so wouldn’t dare admit it to their better halves, but maybe it’s a policy we should adopt in future because a comedian in America is just after doing it and he’s getting a ridiculous amount of kudos for it too.
In a lengthy Facebook post on Wednesday, comedian and public speaker Jason Hewlett admitted that his eye was drawn to an attractive woman while out shopping, a woman that he said “knocked me out”.
Pretty soon, he realised that the woman was, in fact, his wife, and while apologising for “sort of” cheating on her, he went on a lengthy ramble about how lucky he was to have her and how amazing she is, while also pointing out how strange men creeping on women is bound to make them uncomfortable.

No big deal, you might think, but the Internet would beg to differ, with Hewlett’s post getting over 300,000 reactions (likes etc.), over 200,000 shares and over 36,000 responses in the comments, many of which were from women tagging their boyfriends asking them why they couldn’t be more like Jason.
Thanks for raising the bar for the rest of us Jason, thanks a whole damn lot.
