We’re not quite sure what to make of this.
New York resident Reilly Flaherty lost his wallet while out at a gig and assumed he would never see his wallet or its contents – including his drivers licence and credit cards – ever again.
But a few days later, he received an envelope carrying his licence and cards, as well as a letter explaining what had happened to the rest of his belongings.

On the one hand, fair play to the guy who found the wallet and was sound enough to return his personal cards and be honest about what happened to the rest of it.
But on the other, it’s not exactly a good deed if you take a half a cut for yourself.
Regardless, by the time he had received the letter, Flaherty had already cancelled his cards – but at least he got a good story out of it.
