We’ve all heard stories about how Australia is absolutely full to the brim with things that want to kill people.
Off the coast, there are sharks; in the rivers, there are crocodiles; and on land, you’ve a number of venomous snakes and spiders to keep your eye out for.
Patrick Lees, a farmer from New South Wales, recently shared a photograph of his own close encounter with two of the creatures from that list. Fortunately, neither of them were too concerned with trying to kill him.
Uploaded to The Aussie Farmer Facebook page with a caption ‘Death by daddy long-legs’, it shows how a brown snake had been caught up in a daddy long-legs spider’s web.
Despite the difference in size, the snake had been killed by the spider.
