In 2015, there’s been an over-arching word that has been dominating headlines all over the world.
That word is ‘identity’ and it’s been announced as Dictionary.com’s word of the year.
Editors said they picked identity after they saw spikes in searches for words such as transgender, cisgender and microaggression.
You only have to mention Caitlyn Jenner and the definition of marriage being altered by the Supreme Court to understand why it came out on top.
