You all like pies, right? Good, let’s continue.
Remember Jordon Cox, the guy who went from Yorkshire to Essex via Berlin because it was cheaper? Well, he’s found a way to get unlimited free pies. Sort of.
Cox has spotted a free pie voucher for Higgidy pies in certain Tesco stores. It’s active until April 30, and there’s no limit on the number you buy.

He explains the process in his MoneySavingExpert column:
- Buy pie for £3.50
- Open packet and remove voucher
- Use voucher to get a free pie (actually it’s for £3.75, so you can get something else worth up to 25p as a bonus)
- Open free pie and remove voucher
- Use the next voucher to get another free pie
- Repeat ad infinitum (or until the Tesco store runs out of pies)
Seeing as yesterday was Pi day, we’re going to give the supermarket chain the benefit of the doubt and assume it’s a nice easter egg for the more alert among us. Yes, we’re mixing food metaphors, what of it?
