Before we begin, you’ve probably got a few questions.
Yes, TGI Friday’s are genuinely introducing a pulled pork sundae.
No, it’s not a dessert.
But yes, it is real.

According to the restaurant chain, the dish – which costs £5.99 – consists of:
A sundae glass filled with BBQ pulled pork, bacon and melted cheese between layers of mashed potato and topped with Texan toothpicks.
Points for innovation, but we’re not convinced by the concept of serving savoury food in a glass. We’ve only just got used to burgers on slabs of wood.

But wait a second, let’s go back to the elephant in the room.
Here at JOE, we predicted an almost identical dish to this, even if we maybe weren’t being entirely serious.
Back when we predicted a Wetherspoon’s secret menu, the words ‘pulled pork’ and ‘sundae’ featured in very close proximity.
Admittedly our version was a dessert, also including brownie chunks. Yeah, we think it’s better too.
