As astronaut Tim Peake becomes the first Briton in space for more than two decades, his predecessor is getting plenty of attention.
Helen Sharman visited the Mir space station in 1991, but some would say her background made it impossible for Project Juno to turn her down.
Sharman, just 27 years old at the time, had been working as a research scientist studying the science of chocolate…for Mars!
That’s experience of Mars, Galaxy and Milky Way – a space station seems like a bit of a comedown.
