They definitely need a new content writer.
No, your calendar isn’t wrong because we’re all still living in 2015. We wouldn’t blame you for checking though, especially after seeing this advert for the position of Online Writer and SEO Specialist with Vestra Inet, a Canadian web development company.
This job description has caused quite a stir after it was posted on LinkedIn because the company have instantly jumped to the conclusion that only women are suitable for a position as a receptionist.
As things currently stand at the time of writing, the post remains unedited despite plenty of people tweeting their feelings to the company, as seen below.
Naturally this job description has caused quite an outrage on Twitter. Here are just a few of the responses.

Excuse me @vestranet what on earth does being a woman have to do with someone's ability to be a receptionist?! https://t.co/EErIOJsXMb

Just called @vestranet about their LinkedIn ad for female receptionists (https://t.co/Uo4C57DBId). They refused comment.

Hey, @vestranet , @CdnHumanRights tends to frown on this kind of thing. https://t.co/UERtLDt779

@KurtisKolt @vestranet As a guy who's worked as a receptionist/admin assistant for the last 6 1/2 years, I find this very stupid. Dumbasses.
