Whether it’s bourbon or scotch, we all love a bit of whiskey.
Although we all have our favourites, there’s only one whisky that can truly be described as out of this world.
Ardbeg Distillery in Scotland sent some of their single malt scotch to the International Space Station, where it aged for three years before returning to earth.
They even developed a special glass to let astronauts enjoy some in zero gravity.

So how did it taste? Well, Dr. Bill Lumsden, head of distilling and whiskey creation at the Glenmorangie Company, told The Verge: “It was the most unusual tasting we’d ever done.”
Lumsden then described the aftertaste as “pungent, intense, and long, with hints of wood, antiseptic lozenges, and rubbery smoke.”
Still, it beats vodka.
