Machine Gun Kelly responds to Eminem’s interview with his own interview
As confirmed last night by his manager, Machine Gun Kelly sat down with the Breakfast Club at Power 105.1 in New York to air out his grievances with Eminem and to respond to the claims that the Detroit rapper made in his own interview concerning the ongoing lyrical dispute between the two.
The beef between the two rappers indirectly started back in 2012 when MGK tweeted that Em’s daughter, Hailie Jade, was “hot as fuck”.
MGK told Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee that he resolved the issues surrounding the tweet about Em’s daughter six years ago when it happened.
“Truth be told, we had handled it behind the scenes six years ago.”
When asked if he spoke to Em behind the scenes about it, he replied:
“No, he’s a recluse. We can’t find him so we didn’t speak. I spoke to Paul Rosenberg and his team because that’s as man to man as it gets with him.”
Also claiming that Eminem lied in his interview with Sway Calloway when he said he didn’t put a call into Interscope about the tweet, MGK further elaborated on the bars from his “Rap Devil” diss where he told the world that Em called Puff Daddy (the head of his label Bad boy Records) and Jimmy Iovine (the head of Interscope Records at the time).
Touching upon the other rap feud he’s involved in, with Bay Area rapper G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly told the Breakfast Club that he has indeed slept with G’s girlfriend Halsey, but back before the two were an item – something both Halsey and G have disputed – and he also spoke on the recently deceased Mac Miller.

Started with the above mentioned tweet, followed by a few subliminal disses thrown by Machine Gun Kelly over the years it wasn’t until Eminem called MGK out on the song “Not Alike” from his new album, Kamikaze, that the beef between the two rappers really got started.
Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, who cites Eminem as one of his biggest influences, then unleashed an all-out balls-to-the-wall lyrical attack on Eminem with “Rap Devil”.
11 days after MGK released “Rap Devil” Eminem released his counterpunch “Killshot”, which has just become the largest debut of any Hip Hop record in the history of YouTube.
