He was a rapper, an actor, an activist, an icon, and a well respected staple in the black community held in the same high regards as a Martin Luther King Jr. or a Malcolm X. The name Tupac Amaru Shakur resonates with so many people from all different backgrounds for all different reasons.
Able to achieve so much with what little time he had on this earth, it was obvious from the way in which he was campaigning for change and striving for greatness that he wasn’t ever going to stop. He was a symbol of hope.
