Huge congratulations are in order!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their third child.
It was announced on Monday that Duchess Kate had given birth to a baby boy.
Kensington Palace shared a sweet announcement on behalf of the couple, which said: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
“The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

They later added:
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
It was announced on Monday morning that Kate had been admitted to St Mary’s Hospital in London in the early stages of labour.
The statement from Kensington Palace said: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.
“The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced in September that they were expecting their third child together.
The couple are already the proud parents of 4-year-old Prince George and Princess Charlotte, aged 2.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace announced at the time that the pair were “very pleased” to be sharing their happy news.
The spokesperson’s statement continued:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
“As with her previous two pregnancies, the Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum..”
