Grandmothers, priests and maybe even the big man himself would have been appalled watching the Royal Wedding. Not least because it’s costing the British taxpayer more than £30 million, but mainly that David Beckham has, apparently, broken a basic piece of etiquette.
Golden Balls arrived at the wedding alongside his wife, Victoria, in Windsor, at St George’s chapel. As the TV broadcast cutaway from proceedings to a crowd shot (probably the best part of the whole thing) Becks was seen breaking church etiquette, chewing happily away on some chewing gum.

High drama.
600 guests were invited to the Royal Wedding, some of whom may or may not be lizards. But it was the Beckhams that people were most interested in. Be it David and his Wrigley’s, or Posh and her smile-less visage.
Other highlights of the Royal Wedding have included Bishop Michael Curry‘s emotive sermon, and confusion over what Harry said to Meghan at the altar – either “I’m shitting it,” or “I’m so lucky.” The amateur lip readers were out in full force.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged vows and rings before the Queen and 600 guests at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. Ms Markle was walked down the aisle by Prince Charles. The couple will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Millions, maybe even billions, watched the service. Some from pubs that opened at 7am. Now for the FA Cup Final.
