Sky Sports have claimed that reports that David Ginola has suffered a cardiac arrest are incorrect.
According to Nice-Matin the 49-year-old fell unconscious on Thursday afternoon in Mandelieu after taking part in a golf competition and was taken to a hospital in Monaco.

Sky now claim that Ginola has been taken to hospital for tests having fainted after playing a football match in ‘stifling heat’.
Needless to say, we’ll bring you any further updates on this story when we hear it. If Sky are correct though, it seems that Ginola’s condition may not be quite severe as earlier reports suggested.
