“She lured us in. She knew exactly what she was doing. I hope she rots in hell.”
One of the alleged abuse victims of Ghislaine Maxwell has branded her a ‘monster in designer clothes’ while another calls her the ‘mastermind’ behind the operation.
The youngest alleged victim was only 14 at the time she claims Maxwell assaulted her, reports the Mail Online. Though four women, one of them British, are listed on the indictment, American-born Annie Farmer is the only one to have waved her anonymity.
She claims that Maxwell posed as a ‘big sister’ before assaulting her at Epstein’s New Mexico ranch in 1996. Farmer has dubbed Maxwell, 59, as ‘a sexual predator who has never shown any remorse’.
It is also expected that Prince Andrew’s accuser Virginia Roberts will appear at the trial and may even give evidence against Maxwell. She had previously described the former socialite as ‘pure evil’, saying: ‘Epstein was a sick paedophile but Maxwell was the mastermind.’
Another victim, who will remain anonymous, said: “We thought she [Maxwell] was Mary Poppins because she acted like she was our friend and had that lovely English accent.
“But she turned out to be a monster in designer clothing. She lured us in. She knew exactly what she was doing. I hope she rots in hell.”
Maxwell has pleaded not guilty on all charges, saying that she is being used as a scapegoat for Epstein, who took his own life in 2019.
“This will be a knock-down fight to the end,” one of her lawyers said.
“Ghislaine is determined to prove she did nothing wrong and is prepared to enter the witness box and be cross-examined if necessary.
“She has maintained her innocence since the start and is determined to prove to the world she didn’t do any of these heinous crimes she has been accused of.”
The trial is due to commence on November 29 and is expected to last at least six weeks.
