Lady Gaga’s dog walker who was shot feels ‘abandoned’ and asks for donations

Ryan Fischer has set up a GoFundMe asking for donations to help him.

Lady Gaga’s dog walker, who was shot protecting the popstar’s pets, has said he feels “abandoned and unsupported,” and is now asking for donations to help him through the “process of growing from trauma.”

In February, Ryan Fischer was shot in the chest by armed dognappers as he protected Gaga’s beloved French bulldogs.

After undergoing surgery, Fischer began a road trip across the USA from LA, where he was based, to his home in New York.

However, he recently had to get rid of his vehicle, and is now seeking $40,000 in donations to help him buy a new van and continue “seeking out communities that support the process of growing from trauma.”

Fischer writes on his fundraising page that he has felt “abandoned and unsupported,” and admits to having “long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity.”

After “reclaiming” his body, he writes that he now needs to “be equally devoted to strengthening my emotional and mental health.”

He continues: “So here I am, two months down on a 6-month journey. And, on this Feast of Saint Rocque, I have a clear purpose but am at an obvious impasse.

“With no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones, I am humbly asking for your help.

“This is not an easy thing to ask, but I have started to realize sharing your vulnerability with others is exactly when radical change begins to occur for everyone involved.”

Fischer also asked for input on retreats for trauma as well as queer spiritual leaders and healers, and how best to highlight and share with you along the way.

“I love you, and thank you for all the ways you have supported me throughout; I truly can’t wait to see how the next step of this journey unfolds for us all,” he writes.

Several people asked why Lady Gaga was not able to help out her former dog walker.

One follower commented: “Wow this is shocking. Why has Lady Gaga not helped you?”

Another asked: “Why is Lady Gaga not paying for this?”

The popstar reportedly covered the cost of Fischer’s $70,000 medical bills, and said he was “forever a hero.”

In a post on Instagram shortly after the event, Gaga wrote: “I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
