Louis Tomlinson had been due to appear on Friday’s Comic Relief
Lenny Henry sent his best wishes to Louis Tomlinson during Friday’s Comic Relief following the tragic death of the One Direction star’s younger sister.
Félicité Tomlinson passed away earlier this week aged just 18. The Instagram influencer and aspiring fashion designer died at her flat in west London, having reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
Louis had been scheduled to perform on Comic Relief but cancelled in wake of the tragic news.
“Tonight we were due to be joined by a special member of the Comic Relief family,” Henry said during Friday’s show.
“Louis Tomlinson wanted to be on this stage to help us, but the sudden and tragic loss of his sister Félicité obviously means he can’t be here.
“The love and best wishes from all of us at Comic Relief go out to Louis and his family at this terrible time.”
The 27-year-old had recently released a song called ‘Two Of Us’ paying tribute to his mother, Johannah, who died after battling leukemia in December 2016.
